Job Summary

An experienced professional with proven management skills in service delivery and direct customer management. To take responsibility for the management of all staff in service and operations teams. Ability to work in local teams and to drive the delivery of service excellence and financial profitability across said environment.

Principle Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsibility for maintaining a 24hr operations team
  • Manage Service and Operations teams
  • Managing reactive, PPM’s, quoted jobs and subcontractors
  • Manage plant and materials
  • Managing operational health and safety
  • Manage and maintain the incoming client callout system
  • Implement and coordinate the movements of the Service Engineers
  • Maintain resources of the service team to ensure effectiveness of logistics including recruitment & selection of staff and appraisals
  • Follow disciplinary procedure with operations and field staff
  • Record all incidents (including disciplinary), absence and holidays, accidents and sickness, reporting back to HR if necessary
  • Coordinate the maintenance of all operational assets
  • Liaise with client, staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of service excellence
  • Update and maintain bespoke database with all operational information
  • Manage budget for operational income and expenditure and maintaining baseline profitability
  • Ensure sales invoices are raised and associated documents are stored on the data base in a timely manner under direction of the accounts department
  • Liaise with H & S Manager to ensure prompt resolve of all operational health and safety issues whether on site or at place of work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Manage, maintain and update relevant PPE records
  • Manage the stock control
  • Manage customer complaints
  • To delegate duties as deemed necessary to Operations/Service teams

This vacancy requires that you hold the following Qualifications or have the Relevant Experience:

  • Operations Management experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Reasonably located to Romsey office
