Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION – Account Manager, basic salary, commission, car allowance

OTE £50,000+

Reports to: Sales Manager

Contract: 45 Hours per week

The Account Manager will be the ‘Company Ambassador’ working collaboratively with others to increase and develop sales, identify new markets and business opportunities. To hold at least 2 year experience in the sales industry, offer specific skills where appropriate; and carry out, as required, the following:

Principle Responsibilities/Duties

  • Investigate, plan, supervise and manage proposals for both new and existing customers.
  • To manage or taking a leading role in projects, from the earliest planning stage through to completion.
  • To maintain good customer relationships through ‘ownership’ of projects and promote the best possible service
  • To maintain good management of time spent on calls, on site or in office creating proposals

Operational

  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
  • Visit potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Carry out site visit, create a written report and prepare quote
  • Draw up, present, negotiate competitive proposals and close sales
  • Negotiate timely delivery of necessary plant/equipment with stores/operations
  • Hold on site meetings with IDC Engineers to run through work agenda for accepted quoted works where it would be difficult to explain verbally or on paper

This vacancy requires that you hold the following Qualifications or have the Relevant Experience:

  • 2 years experience in the Sales industry
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Local to the Preston office
